Orthodontics

Very few people are born with perfectly aligned teeth.

Most people need some correction. What changes is the method.

It is not just a matter of aesthetics.

Orthodontics can improve the harmony of your smile and your self-confidence, while also benefiting function, hygiene and oral health. And it can be done at any age.

The treatments

What we do.

Invisible Aligners

Removable clear trays, practically unnoticeable in everyday life.

They are discreet and come out for eating and brushing, but they require discipline: they only work if they are worn for the recommended number of hours. For those who stick to it, they are the most comfortable option.

Self-Ligating Braces

Fixed braces with less friction and, in general, fewer check-up appointments.

They do not depend on the patient’s daily cooperation, which makes them the right choice when treatment needs to progress without interruption, or when the tooth movements required are more demanding.

Jaw Orthopaedics

In children and teenagers, it guides the growth of the bones while they are still developing.

Done at the right time, it avoids more demanding treatment later on. Some misalignments, if caught at the right age, can be resolved without the need for fixed braces later.

Frequently asked questions.

Aligners or fixed braces?

It depends on what needs to move, and by how much. Aligners are discreet and removable, but they require discipline: they only work if they are worn for the recommended number of hours. Fixed braces do not depend on daily cooperation. The assessment tells you which one suits your case.

Is there an age limit for orthodontics?

No. It can be done at any age, as long as the gums and bone are healthy. What is different with children is that we can guide the growth of the jaws, not just align the teeth.

How long does treatment take?

It varies from case to case, from a few months to more than two years. At the assessment we give you an estimate for your situation, and the check-ups throughout treatment confirm or adjust that timeframe.
